I think this related to running the app with a different culture than en-US. I&amp;#39;m running Vista Ultimate SP1 x64 in Polish. The app is looking for app.xaml with is not in the main assambly but in the satelite assembly for the en-US locale. I haven&amp;#39;t looked in the source code yet, but if you set UICulture for the project you also need to add NeutralResourcesLanguageAttribute to AssemblyInfo. What happens at this point is the synchronizing stops, and then will resume at its next run.
